Opatija is surely a place with the longest tourist tradition on the eastern Adriatic coast. It was proclaimed the first health resort in the Adriatic, ASME B31.3 codes and today it is known as a fancy tourist resort. Do not miss its carnival and numerous sailing regattas.
The marina (Marina Admiral) is situated in the very town centre.
